The route runs through the northeast of the region, departing the Historical Village of Linhares da Beira towards Salgueirais before descending towards the N17, which it crosses at Cortiçô da Serra. It continues to Carvalheda, Mesquitela, Cadoiço and as far as the beautiful village of Vila Ruiva, all of them in the district of Fornos de Algodres. This is followed by the climb back to Linhares da Beira, passing through Carrapichana, where it once again crosses the N17 and continues to the Historical Village. Although short, it has plenty of steep climbs due to the lay of the land.
