Castelo Rodrigo
Today called the Cistern, a property that conveys the Jewish heritage and influence in Castelo Rodrigo, it is believed that it may have been an ancient synagogue, using part for worship, and another as Mikwéh that would be used for liturgical baths. About thirteen meters deep, it has two entrances - one in the Gothic style and the other, with a horseshoe-shaped arch, in the Arab style.
