Castelo Rodrigo
Rocky outcrop where one can see the silhouette of the head of a Moor warrior. Belonging to the quartzite ridge of the Marofa Mountain formation, from the Palaeozoic era and lower Ordovician period (477.7 to 485.4 million years) of the Appalachian type where Cruziana ichnofossils are found.
