Cross on the SW slope
Castelo Rodrigo
Castelo Rodrigo
Religious and vernacular architecture. Latin cross with arms with trilobed ends and smooth faces, with no decoration. Despite not having a base, it fits in the typology of the Cross at Nave Redonda, parish of Castelo Rodrigo.
Possibly made in the 19th century, it sits directly on the granite rocky outcrop, with a Latin cross with trilobate-tipped arms. The faces are smooth, with no decoration.
