Castelo Novo
This building is on the corner between Rua da Bica and Rua da Misericórdia was built in 1616 and was the home of the first Mayor of Castelo Novo. The architecture is mannerist and has twin balconies supported by a console with classic motifs. There is a coat of arms on the façade sporting a large falcon. Underneath the entrance to the building was through the porte-cochere.
