Belmonte
On your right as you leave the castle, there is a wooden croww made from the pau-brasil red wood (a replica of the cross Cabral ordered set up for the 1st mass said in Brazil). It was given in the 1950s by the Brazilian president Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira.
