Castelo Rodrigo
Ancient medieval Jewry, it was located within the walls to the west of the current street of the Synagogue. The Hebrew community has its neighborhood separated in the time of D. Dinis and must have had the right to synagogue, Mikvwéh and cemetery; with the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in one thousand four hundred and ninety-two this community grows and settles a little throughout the village.
