Sortelha
Located to the west, it has a round arch with three rows of voussoirs resting on imposts. Contrary to what the name implies, of the 3 gates, this is the oldest. It has two old measurements used in markets and fairs: the cubit (66cm) and the pole (110cm) inscribed on the outside frame. This is explained by the fact that the medieval fair occurred in the vicinity of this gate. A human face is carved using simple lines on a voussoir of an interior arch.
