The building called the Large House is a quite extensive. Its unity is sustained by the repetition of standardised doorways with no sign of which was actually the main door. Features surrounded by stonework give it a note of decorative elegance. It used to belong to António Pereira Fontão Júnior, a rich merchant from the town.
