Castelo Rodrigo

Religious, vernacular architecture. 16th or 17th century cross, consisting of a cubic base with staggered steps, on which is raised an octagonal column shaft, topped by a more prominent polygonal capital and crowned with a Latin cross with cylindrical arms. Cross with a cubic base with staggered steps, covered by the public walkway, on which is raised a bevelled octagonal column shaft, with a base formed by a scotia and protruding torus, topped by a prismatic capital with eight sides and crowned with a Latin cross, believed to have been made in the 18th century. The finishing cross has cylindrical and bevelled arms.
