Belmonte
This longitudinal church was opened in 1940. It consists of a nave and a low, narrow chancel with attached vestries. The bell tower is in line with the main façade. It is a church with revivalist and eclectic influences from the beginning of the 20th century. It has a side altarpiece with an image of Our Lady of Hope (which is said to have accompanied Pedro Álvares Cabral on his discovery of Brazil).
