Castelo Rodrigo
This is a symbol of the power of the occupant of the castle built by order of King Dinis. It is quadrangular, of extraordinary height and had six narrow barred windows. It was in a state of abandon in the 18th century. It is said to have been demolished in the 19th century, though its original base still exists.
