A complete route through the Serra da Estrela natural park. The route departs from the Historical Village of Linhares da Beira in the direction of Prados, with a somewhat demanding climb through Assanhas with cobblestones in the village. After passing close to Prados it turns right towards Videmonte, once again with steep slopes. The views of the landscape from the top make it all worthwhile. After descending to Videmonte and passing through the mountain village, it continues downwards into the Mondego valley before climbing to Trinta and onwards to Corujeira and beautiful views of the Caldeirão Dam. After the dam comes a panoramic descent into the Mondego Valley, passing Pêro Soares followed by an essential stop on Mizarela bridge. The route follows the Mondego valley, undulating through Mizarela, Aldeia Viçosa and Vila Cortês do Mondego. It turns left onto the N16 for a few kilometres, as far as Lajeosa do Mondego, where it continues on towards Vale de Azares, Soutinho and Aldeia da Serra, from where Celorico da Beira and its castle are in sight. Before reaching Celorico da Beira, a left turn takes you up the slope of the mountains towards Vide-e-Vinhas and Galisteu, passing Salgueirais with a slight descent to face before facing the final kilometres uphill to the Historical Village of Linhares da Beira.
