The route departs the Historical Village of Marialva on Largo da Figueira Bugalhota, descends into the valley and turns right towards Carvalhal. Before Carvalhal it turns left towards Rabaçal, follows an undulating route, passes through the village and descends to the N102 which it follows for 8 km. It then turns left towards Marialva and ends in an ascent to the Historical Village.
