ATM Service Historic Villages of Portugal

Aldeias Históricas de Portugal - Associação de Desenvolvimento Turístico (AHP - ADT) in partnership with Euronet 360 Finance Limited and the respective Municipalities and Parish Councils has implemented an ATM service in the Historical Villages of Monsanto, Castelo Rodrigo, Sortelha, Linhares da Beira and Piódão.
It is now possible to withdraw money from these Historical Villages using this service, which contributes to the development and promotion of tourism, as well as improving the quality of life of the local community.
The innovation is the result of a partnership between Aldeias Históricas de Portugal - Associação de Desenvolvimento Turístico (AHP - ADT) and Euronet 360 Finance Limited, with the support of the respective municipalities and parish councils.
Under this partnership and as an experimental project, the intention is to replicate it in the other Historic Villages that are part of the network according to the results that materialise in this first phase.
On the other hand, the implementation of this new service was only possible due to the existence of connectivity in Portugal's Historic Villages. The installation of the infrastructure was also the result of a partnership, this time with ALTICE.
