TheVagar is a minimalist charming accommodation, in a purist environment to experience.

The invitation is to slow down and discover here a time and space to experience the mountain life routine that is more spiritual, contains soul and purpose.

Located in Belmonte, in the mountain environment of the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. In the mountain more than 300km of unexplored trails are waiting for us. In the historical village a cultural and gastronomic history - the birthplace of the Portuguese navigator Pedro Álvares Cabral. And it is here at Monte da Esperança that we lose ourselves in memories, stories and new experiences at TheVagar.

In its impressive 245 hectares, TheVagar has a relaxed pace, an atmosphere of intense fragrances and energetic interactions with mother nature.

An exclusive retreat, with only 6 rooms, dedicated to well-being and comfort with the constant presence of nature. Bright rooms with soft queen-size beds and towels of Portuguese fabric origin. Amongst the natural light there are spaces with a view of the greenery, panoramic verandas, fireplaces and cosy corners to be in while relaxing, enjoying the mini-bar or a tea prepared in the room with the electric kettle. Afternoons of concentration can count with a work space, wi-fi and a coffee machine. In the bathroom, a range of 100% solid toiletries.
